Solarsheat

The Solarsheat is an innovative and affordable solar air collection heating system for both residential and commercial applications. The glazed solar air collector operates by drawing interior air into the panel's solar heated chamber and then recirculates the heated air back into the interior space.
The SolarSheat can heat an area of the home or a commercial space (showrooms, offices, workshops, etc.) any time of the year when the sun is shining. Multiple collectors may also be connected together to heat larger areas or rooms. An external digital control allows one to regulate the collector's heat output like any modern heating system. The SolarSheat is easily mounted to the exterior of most any space and can be mounted horizontally if needed.
SOLARSHEAT 1500G
The base unit, the SolarSheat 1500G, is a glazed recirculation solar air collector designed for space heating applications in close proximity to the panel (the unit is mounted on the exterior wall of the space). Air is drawn from inside the room through the bottom of the collector, heated and then blown out through a duct in the top.
The SolarSheat 1500G can heat an area of the home from 300 to 750 square feet when the sun is shining. The unit is self-powered by an integrated solar powered fan and therefore requires no electrical hook-up. An external digital control regulates the collector's heat output.
- Integrated Photovoltaic Module: The SolarSheat has an integrated photovoltaic panel (thin film can effectively work on cloudy days) comprises 15 watts of power that drives a fan for optimal performance.
Modular Extruded Frame: The modular extruded aluminum frame allows for connection between panels from side or top portion. Panels can be interconnected to form large air wall structures to accommodate large heating needs or ventilation air supply. - Perforated Absorber: The perforated absorber allows for maximum air flow through the collector. A high quality paint coating is applied for long-life and ensures excellent energy absorption in a wide variety of climates.
- Ceramic Insulation: A ceramic bead insulation coating is applied to the back of the collector to provide optimal energy efficiency and up to R20 value which can act with or instead of back insulated wall.
- External Control: The SolarSheat 1500G includes an external digital control that allow you to preset your room temperature. The unit can deliver up to 120ºF or 49ºC (estimated) for room heating.
- Fan: The fan has a long life and provides up to 100 CFM for adequate room ventilation.

SH1500GS
The SolarSheat 1500GS is made to provide space heating and to decrease your building’s heating bill. Multiple 1500GS collectors can be attached to each other or to other SolarSheat models to increase the power output for spaces which require more heat. It works the same as a 1500G, but requires a fan. This collector heats air that is pulled through it at room temperature air from inside the building, and pushes the hot air back in. External fans and controls are available for the 1500GS collectors.
SH1500 & SH1500S
The SolarSheat 1500 & SH1500S are made to provide fresh air during the heating season without increasing the building’s heating bill. It heats the cold outdoor air and blows warm fresh air into a space, at a little over room temperature. The unit is self-powered. It has a built-in fan which is powered by an electricity producing Photo Voltaic (PV) panel. The SolarSheat 1500 connects to a digital temperature control (DC thermostat), which enables the user to set a maximum room temperature. The SolarSheat 1500 is designed so that it will not allow the internal fan to come on if the air is below roughly 68 degF (20 degC) inside the collector.
The SolarSheat 1500S is made to provide fresh air during the heating season without increasing your building’s heating bill. It pre-heats incoming outdoor (make-up) air. It requires an external fan to pull air through it. It is used to increase the heating power of the SH1500 unit, the Solar HRV, and the Solar Furnace (as shown below). It is also used in commercial applications which can be assembled into large SolarSheat walls.
